Extremely ripe aromas of black fruit and mocha with sweet, sappy and elegant flavors that are rich, round and relatively forward yet there is notable structure lurking underneath. The concentration is evident and this will require a few years to reach its potential. There is a seductively sappy quality to the finish with ample pinot extract though not much complexity at this juncture.
