Dark purple with pink rim. Intense. Nose closed. Very elegant palate of cassis and blackcurrant. Very smooth. Good complexity. Not a blockbuster but beautifully made. Needs another 10 years. One of the best 1998’s I’ve tasted. 93 points, Tom Cannavan
